One figure covers the whole blend, so the answer is between a trace and 250 mg. An even split across 11 names would be about 22.7 mg, and the psyllium trials ran at 10 g a day.

Four: Cascara Sagrada (bark), Chinese Rhubarb (root), Buckthorn (bark) and Aloe Vera (leaf). All four carry hydroxyanthracene derivatives and act on the colon wall.

Straw is the threshed stem. The oat cholesterol literature used beta-glucan from the grain, so naming the part is the difference between a comparison that works and one that does not.

One capsule daily with an 8 oz glass of water, 20 to 30 minutes before a meal, as the label states. The water is the part with a published reason behind it.

The printed instruction is before a meal. Calcium carbonate absorbs better with food, so there is a mild tension between the two, and the label is what this site follows.

Take one the next day. The label sets one capsule a day as a ceiling as well as a dose, so making up a missed capsule is the adjustment to avoid.

The label says not to exceed the recommended dose. A double capsule doubles the anthranoid fraction along with everything else in the blend.

Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and light. A live culture and a binding clay are both sensitive to warmth and damp, so a kitchen cupboard suits it better than a bathroom shelf.

Nothing on the artwork covers it. A bulk fibre stirred into a small volume gels in the glass, and the shell is part of how the contents reach the gut.

The anthranoid herbs act within a day in the published pharmacology of their class, while the fibre and culture literature runs to weeks. The distributor's recorded common wait is 4–8 weeks.

Three interactions are specific enough to name: goldenseal with CYP3A substrates, goldenseal with metformin, and alfalfa with warfarin. Each rests on a human study.

The printed caution names both groups and asks that a physician be consulted first. Three ingredients on this panel have LactMed monographs addressing breastfeeding directly.

Cramping is the characteristic effect of the anthranoid class, and four of the eleven botanicals belong to it. How much of the blend they account for is given as one shared figure.

The seller's page describes it as non-habit-forming and that phrase does not appear on this website, because four anthranoid stimulants sit on the printed panel. The dependence question is exactly what the 2024 critical review examines.

No dietary supplement is. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and facility registration is a filing rather than approval.

The two to watch are another fibre product and another laxative, since both add to what is already here. Bentonite is a binder, so spacing it from anything taken for absorption is sensible.
